Don’t tell the other genres of voiceover, but voicing for Promo might be my favorite of all.

There’s something about promo that just hits different for me. Artistically, I love the challenge of finding the right tempo and musicality to fit within the time constraints that come standard in promo spots. And emotionally, it excites me knowing that the whole crux of my job as a promo voice actor is spreading the good word about new shows and stories for people to enjoy and indulge after a long day of work — even when it’s a tough, gruff read for a gritty drama, you can feel my joy in sharing with viewers why this is the show that demands their attention.

Training with the likes of Harry Dunn, Jeff Howell, and Joe Cipriano, promo is my favorite place to be in my Swiss army knife of voice work. All voiced from my broadcast-quality home voice over studio in lovely Minneapolis, MN.
